On Thursday, April 13, we at Skara Stadshotell are hosting Stadshotell wine tasting with Petter Alexis, with a special focus on Italy! The event will feature a wine tasting and dinner under the theme “Piedmont.”

Petter Alexis will serve as the sommelier for the evening and lead the wine tasting. Along with flavorful wines, a three-course dinner with an Italian theme—Piedmont—will be served. Classic Carpaccio, thin slices of seared beef tenderloin, served with truffle emulsion, celery, tomato confit, and sourdough croutons

Piedmontese Ossobuco, braised veal shank with herbs, wine, and stock. Creamy saffron risotto topped with Parmesan

Bonet, baked Italian chocolate cream with caramel and amaretto cookies

Petter has selected five different wines from Piedmont (both white and red), which he will discuss and which will be served with the meal.
