For us at Skara Stadshotell , the Christmas buffet Stadshotell a time-honored tradition—a celebration we cherish and take pride in developing. Our Christmas buffet draws inspiration from our location, the history of Skaraborg, and the surrounding agricultural landscape.

We work with carefully selected ingredients from the region between Lake Vänern and Lake Vättern, complementing them with classic Christmas flavors such as herring, salmon, and, of course, all the sweet treats that are a part of Christmas.

On the Christmas table, you’ll find, among other things, Skaraborg’s national dish, grynkorv from Nossebro, our head chef’s beetroot salad made according to his grandmother’s recipe, and our own meatballs, delicately seasoned with the finest flavors of Christmas.

This year, the Christmas buffet will be set up around our beautiful banquet hall in a thoughtfully designed layout that allows you to enjoy the dishes in a natural and flavorful sequence. Whether you prefer vegetables, fish, or meat, our goal remains the same—to treat every ingredient with respect and care, so that you can experience all the flavors of Christmas in the best possible way.

During our Christmas buffet evenings, Henrik Strömberg provides the entertainment and creates a warm and festive atmosphere that really tops it all off.
