Theater Production: Lord Redmoore
March 11, 2024
Does your child play a lot of video games? This performance can help you understand the world of video games and what it can mean for a person.
A young man in a wheelchair sits in a basement playing World of Warcraft. He never goes out; he doesn’t see any friends. He experiences nothing outside his own basement room. Upstairs, his parents grieve over their son’s lonely, isolated existence. But the biggest surprise of their lives awaits them. The true story of Mats, whose death touched thousands of people around the world.
People he had never met in real life. Despite that, he had shared all the important moments of his life
with so many. This is a performance about finding new paths. About living a life beyond the ordinary, in another universe, in another body, with another name: Lord Redmoore.
The performance will be shown to all 9th-grade students, and there will also be a public performance on the evening of Monday, March 11
at 6:00 p.m.
Tickets can be purchased at the Skara Library (advance sales) or via Swish at the entrance.
