ABOUT MUSIKHJÄLPEN & THE FUNDRAISING CAMPAIGN

What is Musikhjälpen?

Musikhjälpen is an annual fundraising week during which P3, SVT, and Radiohjälpen broadcast around the clock from a glass cage in a town square in Sweden. The hosts are locked inside for six days, and together with artists, guests, and the entire country, they raise money for an important global cause. It’s a week filled with music, warmth, and dedication—and thousands of creative initiatives from individuals, companies, and organizations.

Musikhjälpen 2025

The theme for 2025 is “Every child has the right to go to school,” and the event will be broadcast from the main square in Karlstad from December 1–7.
Millions of children around the world lack access to safe and inclusive education, especially in areas affected by war, disasters, or poverty.

The 2025 fundraising campaign therefore focuses on:
• Setting up temporary schools in crisis-stricken areas
• Providing refugee children with a safe place to learn and grow
• Supporting children with disabilities so that they, too, have access to education

Why is this important?

School is more than just education—it offers security, a sense of community, and a chance at a future.
Through Musikhjälpen, we can work together to ensure that more children have the opportunity to attend

school, regardless of where they live or what their circumstances are.
