GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
You and the hotel can together come to an agreement regarding the terms and conditions for your stay. If no special agreement has been made the rules in this document is valid-as well as the rules internationally recognized. Some hotels apply other terms and conditions than standard for check-in and check-out and different terms of payment and cancellation policies. It is the hotels own terms and conditions that is valid as long as you have been informed of these in connection with your booking. Please note the information you get carefully. Other terms apply for conferences and other arrangements.

BOOKING AND CONFIRMATION
A booking is binding when it has been confirmed. This can be done verbally or in writing, for example via email. You and the hotel have then entered into an agreement. There is still some possibility to cancel – please see “cancellation and no show”. When booking you are obliged to state your name, address, check – in and check-out time and which way you want to pay.

ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE
The hotel room is available for you from 15.00 day of arrival. On the day of departure you need to leave the room no later than 11.00.            Note! Some hotels apply other times for check-in/check-out. If so, these times are valid as long as you have been informed about this during the booking process.

LATE ARRIVALS
The room is reserved to you for arrival until no later than 23.00. If you think you will arrive later you must let the hotel know beforehand to make sure the room is not let to another guest.

CANCELLATION AND NO SHOW
It is an established practice that the hotels accept a cancellation of a booking. The following rules apply: Cancellations are accepted if made no later than 12.00 on the day of arrival. If you don´t show up or cancel later than 12.00 you will be charged for one night. If the hotel has had special costs with your booking you will also be liable to pay for these. Note! Some hotels apply stricter conditions for cancellations. If so, these conditions apply as long as you have been informed about this during the booking process.

DEPARTURE BEFORE BOOKED DAY OF DEPARTURE
If you have a booking for a set period of time but leave beforehand you will have to pay according to late cancellation. In addition to the time you have stayed at the hotel you will be charged for one more night.

INDEFINITE STAY
If you stay at the hotel for an indefinite time and extend your stay day by day you are obliged to inform about your departure no later than 18.00 the day before you plan to leave. If not you will be charged for one more night. If the hotel no longer can let you dispose of the room you have the right to be informed about this no later than 18.00 the day before.

THE HOTELS OBLIGATIONS
If the hotel can´t provide a room according to booking you have the right to have another room or an upgrade to another room at the hotel or at a hotel with the same standard free of charge.

REQUIREMENTS
Many hotels have adjusted parts of the hotel to accommodate guests with special needs. Please let us know what you require at the time of the booking to make sure the hotel is prepared and can plan for your arrival best possible way.

SMOKING
We are a smoke free hotel. There is a special smoking area outside. If the smoking ban is violated the hotel have the right to charge the guest for any costs of cleaning and sanitation.

PETS
If you want to bring your pet, please let us know at the time of the booking.

EQUIPMENT
If you need any special technical equipment you should let us know in good time prior to arrival so we can do our best to fulfill your requirement.

FOOD
If you have any special food requirements (vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.) please let us know at the time of the booking.

BOOKING FEE OR ADVANCE PAYMENT
The hotel has the right to request a booking fee or advanced payment to make your booking binding. The amount will be deducted from your final bill. If you cancel the room without following the cancellation policies the hotel then has the right to keep the booking fee/ advance payment.

PAYMENT
The main principle is that the hotel bill shall be paid when you receive it. Normally when arriving at the hotel. We accept all major credit cards. The hotel is not obliged to accept all credit cards or foreign currencies if not agreed upon at booking. Please check with us prior to arrival if you´re in doubt. If you don´t pay the bill according to terms the hotel is entitled to add default interest.

REGISTRATION OF FOREIGN HOTEL GUESTS
According to aliens decree is it mandatory for hotels to ensure that foreign hotel guests fill out and sign a registry card which The National Police Board have issued. The guest also needs to show identification. These rules are based on the EU Schengen Agreement.

VALUABLES AND LUGGAGE
Your valuables can be stored in the safe in the hotel room. Talk to the staff at reception if you have any questions. During check-in and check-out please don´t leave your luggage unattended in the lobby. We have a locked luggage room subject to availability. The hotel is only responsible for your luggage when stored in a by the hotel locked room like the luggage room. If you bring highly valued property you are obliged to inform the staff at reception when leaving it in for storing. The hotel has no obligation to store property of high value and are only liable to pay compensation for goods agreed to store and accept responsibility for. The hotel has by law, as a claim toward the customer, the right to keep goods and after set rules eventually sell the goods.

 

RESPONSIBILTY FOR LOST GOODS/THEFT IN THE HOTELROOM
The hotel has no strict responsibility for property you have in the hotel room or in the safe in the hotel room. But if it shows that the hotel or staff at the hotel have acted recklessly or carelessly or in any other way is responsible for the lost property the hotel will take responsibility for the lost/stolen goods.

YOUR OWN SAFETY
Please pay attention to where to find emergency exits, alarm buttons and fire extinguishers. This information is usually displayed on the inside of your hotel door, in an information binder in the room or at the reception. Visita have together with the Swedish fire protection association produced the information folder ”Hotel Safety”. Please read it – for your own safety. If you notice any shortcomings in our safety measures we kindly ask you to promptly report it to the reception.
