Ett hotell med lång historia
Hotell med anor från 1800-talet
Skara Stadshotell är ett elegant och anrikt hotell mitt i centrala Skara. Hotellet byggdes redan år 1874 då järnvägsförbindelsen innebär ökad tillströmning av besökare till staden. Hotellet ritades av arkitekten Emil Viktor Langlet och stod klart 1875. Den stora och pampiga festsalen vittnar om många olika sorters tillställningar och här har både studenter valsat och kungligheter dinerat.
1986 köpte bröderna Roser stadshotellet från Skara kommun. De breddade verksamheten med catering och event och gjorde Skara Stadshotell till en stor del av Skaras nöjesliv. Här arrangerades allt från musikfestivaler och oktoberfester till stadslopp och revyer. 2020 tog Jula över ägandet av Skara Stadshotell och sedan dess har omfattande renoveringar gjort av hotellet. Vi har bevarat den eleganta och klassiska stilen och rustat upp med moderna detaljer som ska leva vidare i många år.
